How to Register for Sports:
We will be utilizing the website Register My Athlete. for all requirements. Paper copies will NOT be accepted. All requirements for Register My Athlete MUST be completed PRIOR to tryouts. Students without completed registrations will not be allowed to try out. You will know your student is good to go when it says "Ready for Tryouts".
Directions on how to register your student can be found below as a PowerPoint presentation. When you register your student, please make sure you register them for every sport they might be interested in. Even if they do not try out for that sport, it will guarantee we have their information.
If you completed this process last school year, you still need to go in and update your physical information, and register for this school year's sports. You will not need to go through the whole process of recreating an account though. Only physicals given after 3/1/24 will be accepted.
Every athlete and every team has to have a solid game plan going into the season for the best chance of success. If your child is interested in participating in Deer Valley Unified School District athletics, make sure he/she is prepared well in advance with all of the necessary forms, medical clearances, and training required, as well as all fees paid in full.
Your best resource of information beyond this website, or consultation with your child's coach or school's athletic director, is the DVUSD Athlete Handbook. Please download and save this guide throughout the season for any quick reference to DVUSD and AIA rules and regulations.
Once you are ready with all of your materials, access (or create) your account on Register My Athlete to start the registration process.
