 I am Cindy Arthur and will be your child’s 1st grade teacher! A little bit about myself; I grew up here in Arizona and went through the Deer Valley District K-12 grade. I have been teaching 1st grade in the district for 28 years. Prior to coming to Stetson Hills in 2002, I taught at Park Meadows and Anthem School. I attended NAU for both my Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Early Childhood with a Reading Endorsement. I have been married for twenty-five years to my husband Shayne and we have three beautiful daughters, Allison, Emma, and Ava who also attend school in our district. I am looking forward to a great year!

WELCOME to First Grade!

My name is Jennifer Calderone and I am thrilled to be your child's teacher!

A little bit about myself ~ I was born and raised in a suburb of Chicago, IL. I attended the University of Iowa {Go Hawks!} for my undergraduate degree and received my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis on Early Childhood Education.

I taught Pre-Kindergarten and First Grade in the same town where I attended school until I got married and started my family.

My late husband, David, twins Max and Mia, and I, moved to Arizona in 2001 where I began my teaching career in DVUSD. I taught for four years at Las Brisas and ten years at Diamond Canyon, before venturing into the charter school system where I was a Librarian for many years. When my husband passed away in 2018 I re-entered the classroom and taught at a traditional school before rejoining the Deer Valley school district.

As of February 2026 I completed my Master's degree in K-12 Reading/Literacy at Grand Canyon University and now proudly hold my Reading Endorsement.

Outside of school I work part-time at Crate & Barrel, I love watching sports, shopping and spending as much time as possible with my now grown-up children. 

I am so excited to be spending this year together with you!

Welcome to First Grade! I am Chantelle Lepick and will be your child’s 1st grade teacher! A little bit about myself; I grew up here in Arizona. I have been teaching in the district for 31 years. I have taught special education, 1st and 2nd grade. Prior to coming to Stetson Hills in 2000, I taught at Park Meadows. I attended ASU West and have a degree in Special Education and have an endorsement in Early Childhood. I have been married for 30 years to my husband Chris and we have three amazing young men, Branden, Dylan, and Aaron who also attended school in our district.  I am looking forward to a great year!
