Hello!  My name is Heather Duran.  I have been teaching for thirty one years!  How time flies!  I love teaching sixth grade and look forward to working with all of you and your children this year.  I graduated from ASU with my Bachelor's Degree, and received my Master's Degree from NAU.

I have been married for 26 years, and have three kids of my own.  My son, Shane, is in his second year of grad school. He is working on becoming  a physical therapist.  My daughter, Jenny, just graduated from NAU with a Marketing degree.  Michael is a Junior at Sandra Day O'Connor. My husband, Mark, is a police officer and is a K9 handler.

I love teaching and working with kids, and look forward to getting to know each and every student this year! It will be a great year!
