Home of the Stallions!

Ms. Grasso

I am a product of Deer Valley Unified School District. I graduated from Deer Valley High School in 2007 where I went on to Glendale Community College to earn an Associates of Arts in Elementary Education. From there, I went on to Arizona State University where I graduated December of 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education with emphasis in English, and a Bachelor of Arts in English. I also went back to ASU to complete my Masters in Gifted Education and a second Masters in Educational Leadership. This is my 11th year teaching here at Stetson Hills! I am currently in my 7th year as Athletic Coordinator as well.

In my free time I am an avid reader.  I absolutely adore all literature, especially medieval and renaissance literature, but Shakespeare holds a special place in my heart. There is something that is truly just so beautiful about his written word.

As you can see from the picture, I also love to spend my time in Disneyland with my friends and family. Aside from Disneyland, I am also very involved with the Arizona Renaissance Festival that comes here every spring. My animals also mean the world to me! Currently I have four cats (Fiona, Bagheera, Indy, and Mickey), and ten ratties (Matthew, Dally Winston, Wasabi Goblin, Coconut, Bonzai, Marnie, Flotsam, Jetsam, Clover, and Jellybean). In addition, I foster ratties as well through Any Rat Rescue, and am actively involved with them. I currently have four fosters through them.

Some of my favorite things include:

Starbucks (iced caramel macchiatos!)

All animals (but I love opossums and cows)
Anything pumpkin flavored
Diet coke
Disney
The color pink
Fancy pens!
Twix and Hershey's Kisses
Chick-fil-a
Target (I could literally live there!)
Old Navy
Amazon (I spend wayyyyyy too much there)
