Welcome to EL!

I am excited to be working with EL students at Stetson Hills again this year. EL stands for English Language. EL Services will be provided, by pulling students out of their classrooms, to work at varying levels of English Proficiency, through their Science or Social Studies content. Students will also recieve push in support in their classrooms. Our focus will be on vocabulary, reading, reading comprehension, writing, listening, and speaking to increase English Fluency. Lot's of speaking! Students are encouraged to speak often in my class so they can practice their English frequently. I'm looking forward to a year of lots of learning and growth! Please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions or concernes that you may have. I am here to help both you and your student throughout their EL journey at Stetson.
