Stallion Families,
It is both an honor and a pleasure to continue to serve as the principal of Stetson Hills. For those of you that are new to our community, here is a little bit about me:
I knew from a very young age that my heart was in education. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from Arizona State University and a Masters of Education degree in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona. For the past ten years, I have served in a school leadership role in both principal and assistant principal roles. This will by my 19th year in education and prior to serving in an administrative role, I was a teacher for many years. I started my teaching career at Canyon Springs and throughout the years taught 5th, 6th, and 7th grades, as well as gifted cluster classes and English Language Arts courses. I also had the privilege of serving as a mentor teacher to a wide range of grade levels and special areas for many years.
Stetson Hills has a long history of academic excellence and student achievement. Through strong parent, student, and staff communication, we will work together to continue to provide extraordinary opportunities to all students at Stetson Hills. I look forward to working with you as we join together toward a shared vision of excellence and I am excited for an exceptional school year!
Sincerely,

Stetson Hills Community,
As we look ahead to another incredible school year, I could not be more proud or grateful to continue serving as your Assistant Principal. Being a part of the Stallion team and supporting our amazing students and families throughout their educational journeys is a true privilege. One of my absolute favorite highlights from this past year was the Stallion Showcase—seeing our community come together to celebrate our students' incredible artistic talents, academic projects, and personal growth was truly unforgettable.
This upcoming year marks my 13th year in education and my third in administration. My path began at Grand Canyon University, where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Special Education, followed by a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Western Governors University. Over the years, I’ve had the joy of working across all K-12 settings—with a special fondness for middle school English Language Arts and math—as well as dedicating a significant portion of my career to supporting students as a special education service coordinator and strategist.
When I’m not at school, I am usually spending quality time with my family. We are avid baseball lovers (Go Red Sox!) and cherish our time together.
I am fully committed to ensuring Stetson Hills remains a place where every student feels seen, supported, and inspired to achieve excellence. I look forward to partnering with you all for another fantastic year of growth and progress!
Warmly,
Kellie Walter
Assistant Principal
